I have grown in my walk with Christ in the last couple of years because I am serving Him, serving others and serving the community. How do I do this... Servant Evangelism! I go out into the community with a smile on my face and serve! I have went door to door, delivering a smile and some candy around Halloween time! I have walked in many parades in the community handing out popsicles with a smile! I have pumped gas into some strangers car and gave them a token of our love as they left! Providing a service with a smile! Everything you do should reflect God's love for us and how much we appreciate it. So I encourage everyone who reads this to go out into the community with a smile on your face and show that God's love is "free" by doing a random act of kindness!

What will you decide?

I was watching the figure skating competition on Saturday evening.  I watched defending champion Kimmie Meisner and wow is she a top notch skater.  However, during her long skate, she fell down THREE times!!  After her third fall, she just skated around for a moment.  I thought she was going to leave the rink.  But she made a decision at that moment.  She kept going.  And for that last little bit left of her performance, she skated better than anyone else did that night.  She nailed the last jump.  She put her heart and body wholly into the final spin series.  She refused to give up, even though she knew she had already lost.  It was the most courageous thing I've ever seen.  I felt so proud of her.  It must feel crushing to know you have failed so miserably and still give 100% to finish.  Had she chosen to quit at that moment, it would be so much harder for her to try again at some point in the future.  Wow. That's heart.  That's grace.  What will you decide when you are facing failure?  Who will you turn to for courage?  I can do all things through Christ.  You can, too.

first fifteen challenge

It is a great day to focus on God. Many from CrossWind are taking the first fifteen challenge. They are taking the first fifteen minutes each day to read their bible and to pray. The testimonies are amazing. God is touching lives deeply. Even night people are starting their day with a new focus.

Would you like to take the first fifteen?
